Singing in the choir, glee club and "A Capella" choir was a joy and something I still miss. Saturday night dates and dances were always something to look forward to. Post graduation visits with the Donovans. Giving Nat King Cole and his family directions to Natalie's dorm when they first arrived at Northfield. Parties that Rudy Weber used to give in his apartment on the fourth floor of N. Crossley. This was after graduation, but I was visiting campus and watching the Deerfield game the day Silliman burned to the ground. Saw the whole thing.

I'm sworn to secrecy, though I'll never forget the night my roommate Doug Ricard and I woke up to find out that dozens of alarm clocks had been stashed in our room and set to go off at different intervals. Charlie Edwards was my roommate senior year. Charlie was the hall monitor on the third floor of Overton. There was never a dull moment sharing a room with Charlie. The JFK assassination was particularly memorable because Charlie was from Hyannis and knew the Kennedy family.

Working for Mr. Skib in West Hall kitchen junior year and working in Dean Burdick's Office senior year (with Frank Shorter).

Tom Donovan and Rudy Weber were the best teachers I had because they kept my attention and taught me a lot. Mr. Raymond was a wonderful choir leader and conductor.

- American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School, Northwestern University, - '82.
- Three years active duty aboard a Destroyer. Two tours to Southeast Asian waters (WESTPAC). Continued in Naval Reserves for 21 more years retiring in 1992 with grade of Captain (O-6).
- 45 year career in banking specializing in Trusts & Estates, Endowments, Foundations and Planned Giving vehicles. Currently a senior relationship manager in Philanthropic Solutions Group at US Trust, Bank of America. Retired in 2017.
- Married to Ruth E. (Batson) Weston for 39 years. Lost Ruth to colon cancer in 2012.
- I enjoy reading, walking, fly-fishing and bicycling.
- Sister, Marcia (Weston) Haas was Class of '66 at Northfield.
- Biggest highlight was my marriage and the birth of my children and watching them grow to adulthood.
- Had a part in the feasibility study and planning that eventually led to the creation of the Community Foundation of W. Mass.
- Retired from Bank of America, U.S. Trust May 2017.
- Director of the Beveridge Family Foundation since 2006. The Foundation was founded by Frank Stanley Beveridge after whom Beveridge Hall is named!
- Director of Stanley Park, Westfield. Also founded by Frank Stanley Beveridge.
- Volunteer grant reviewer for the Community Foundation of W. Mass.
- Corporator, Westfield Athenaeum, Westfield, MA.
- Member, Wantastiquet Trout Club, Weston, VT (former president, board member, chair of various committees).
- Roommates at NHM: 62-63: Doug Ricard; 63-64: Charlie Edwards.

The school taught me the importance of study, discipline and belief.
